Independent mind. Business focus.

Good websites.
Better business.

Your next chapter deserves a better website. I’m William — I design and build distinctive digital experiences that help businesses move forward.

Thoughtful design. Solid code. A real person behind both.

A good-looking site is just the start.

01 / Selected directions

A little possibility, made tangible.

Different businesses.
Same attention to detail.

Two concept explorations of what a thoughtful website can do. Original sample work, ready to make room for real project stories.

Cedar & Form

01 / Business website

An inviting digital home for a design studio. Clear services, a considered portfolio, and a direct path to an inquiry.

Inside the concept

The direction: Make the work the centerpiece while helping a prospective client understand the studio’s approach.

The build: A responsive editorial layout, reusable project sections, and a simple contact journey. This is an original visual study, not a commissioned client project or live website.

Fieldwork

02 / Digital experience

A calmer take on a busy workday. An interface exploration that makes information easier to scan and next steps easier to find.

Inside the concept

The direction: Turn a dense workspace into a clear, welcoming interface through hierarchy, spacing, and a focused palette.

The build: A front-end interface study with a responsive grid and reusable components. The data is illustrative; this concept does not include a functioning dashboard or backend.

02 / How I can help

From “we need a website” to “that’s us.”

Built around
your business.
Not the other
way around.

03 / A little about me

A developer’s mind.
An eye for the details.

I’m William Haynes, an independent web developer who cares as much about how a website feels as how it works.

I like turning complicated ideas into clear, useful experiences. My approach pairs thoughtful design with practical development, so your website feels like your business and makes sense to the people using it.

You’ll work directly with me: one person who understands the brief, builds the details, and helps you take the next step.

04 / The way we’ll work

Collaborative. Straightforward. No mystery.

A clear path from
“what if” to live.

You know your business. I know the web.
Here’s how we bring the two together.

  1. 01

    Get on the same page

We talk about your business, your audience, and what success looks like. Then we agree on scope and a plan.

THE OUTCOME / A CLEAR BRIEF
  2. 02

    Find the right direction

Structure, content, and visual design take shape. You see where we’re headed and help refine the details.

THE OUTCOME / A SHARED VISION
  3. 03

    Build with intention

I turn the design into a working site, then check the experience across screen sizes, browsers, and keyboards.

THE OUTCOME / A SITE THAT WORKS
  4. 04

    Launch with confidence

We review the final details, take it live, and make sure you know how to keep things moving after launch.

THE OUTCOME / YOUR NEXT CHAPTER

Good things start with a conversation

Let’s make
your next move.

A new idea, an overdue redesign, or just a question. Tell me what you have in mind.

Start a conversation

A little about your business, what you need, and your ideal timeline is a great place to start.
